Notes: Another tape from the Gary's Black Sabbath set; this one was his original VHS tape, which was marked as "1st gen". 2nd
show of the summer Ozzfest tour, this is a pretty well-filmed show, alternating between the stage and (mostly) the screen,
depending upon what the rest of the crowd is doing at any given moment; there are quite a few obstructions. I authored this DVD
on February 2, 2004.

Notes: At the end of 2003, Gary's Black Sabbath (the website) started selling off his VHS tapes...so, I did the logical thing
and bought something on the order of 80+ videos from him over the course of about six weeks. I then spent the next several
months doing conversions of the tapes that I bought; this show is from that batch of videos and was converted on January 7, 2004.
I'm not sure how circulated this show is, but, this is my own conversion and, to my knowledge, has never been shared online before.

This was the first show of the second leg of the '99 USA tour and includes a rare complete performance of Sabbath Bloody Sabbath.
Ozzy sings it much like Tony Martin did when he was performing it on the '95 tour, but, not nearly as strongly - it's no surprise
that it was immediately dropped and (to my knowledge) never performed again. I'll give ol' Ozz props for trying! I thought the
'99 tour - which was also the first full tour with Bill Ward back in the band - was very strong and, while everyone was complain-
ing about Ozzy's voice back then, in retrospect, he actually sounds pretty good!

Notes: Another early '99 show from the Gary's Black Sabbath batch of tapes. Shot from the side, this is a well filmed (if a
little generated), good sounding show that fans will want in their collections. Due to the location, I wonder if this isn't
a Lividz recording, but, I do not know for sure, as it doesn't have any of his typical watermarks. I transferred this VHS
tape to DVD on March 24, 2004.

The Black Sabbath Show (cartoon)

Notes: Another from the Gary's Black Sabbath batch; this is the 12th show of the tour. Gary used to list the gen of the tapes on
his site, but, when I bought these, I was just thrilled to have the shows - I didn't really care about the lineage. At some point,
I started looking for in the information on-line, but, his website seems to have disappeared for good, so, I can't say for sure.
This much is certain: in some instances he sold me his original tape, in others, he sold me a dub of his original. The guy had a huge
collection and so a lot of his stuff was very low gen. Some, not so much - this show is pretty generated, but, is well-shot and
definitely watchable.

NEW: Black Sabbath live in Seinajoki 1994 - 1DVD - June 11

BLACK SABBATH
Provinssi Rock Festival
Seinajoki, Finland
June 11, 1994

Lineage: unknown gen VHS>VIDEO TS (using Ulead)>DVD-R>DVDShrink(lossless extraction)>VIDEO TS

Band:
Tony Iommi
Geezer Butler
Tony Martin
Bobby Rondinelli
with Geoff Nicholls

Tracklist (1:09:32):
Children of the Sea (cuts in)
I Witness
The Mob Rules
Into The Void
When Death Calls
Black Sabbath
Neon Knights
Psychophobia
The Wizard
Cross Of Thorns
Symptom Of The Universe
Rondinelli solo
Headless Cross
Paranoid (cuts out)

Notes: Still more from the Gary's Black Sabbath batch; this is the last show of the European part of the Cross Purposes tour and
Bobby Rondinelli's last show of the tour. He was replaced for the South American leg by Bill Ward, thus restoring the original
Black Sabbath to a 3 member quorum. To me, that's what ultimately gave Tony Martin credibility in Sabbath - playing with Tony, Bill
and Geezer.

Truly, the Cross Purposes album was very strong and the tour setlist was very well balanced between the new album, Dio-era and
Ozzy-era classics. This is an incomplete document of that, as it's missing the beginning and the encore, pretty shaky, but, decent
angles and good sound. If you're a fan...

NEW: Black Sabbath live in Amsterdam 1990 - 1DVD - November 1

BLACK SABBATH
Jaap Eden Hall
Amsterdam, Holland
November 1, 1990

Lineage: unknown gen VHS>VIDEO TS (using ClickToDVD)>DVD-R>DVDShrink(lossless extraction)>VIDEO TS

Band:
Tony Iommi
Cozy Powell
Tony Martin
Neil Murray
with Geoff Nicholls

Tracklist (1:38:32):
Neon Knights
Iron Man
Children of the Grave
Die Young
The Sabbath Stones
Heart Like a Wheel
Headless Cross
When Death Calls
The Law Maker
Anno Mundi
Black Sabbath
Heaven and Hell
Paranoid

Notes: Still more from the Gary's Black Sabbath batch: only a handfull of Tyr tour shows were played, so, very little exists
on video - this is probably the best example. This video is a bit generated, but, sounds pretty good and has some pretty decent
(if occasionally shaky) camera work. Don't expect a masterpiece, but, very well worthwhile for fans. I converted this from VHS
to DVD on October 7, 2003.
